Pacific Oriental was founded in 2016 by Pacific Trust. In 2019, Air Tin took over the passenger service operations until the Pacific Trust collapse. In order to prevent a grounding European Central Airlines took over all the operations and transformed the carrier into a cargo company. On March 27th 2020, Cross Switzerland took over the company and will reduce the operations from 188 to 55 aircraft in order to cut costs.
Cross Switzerland sold it’s shares to Air Wuhan on August 4th, in order to transform the company into a passenger Airline again.
The majority of Pacific Oriental shares were sold to Air Tourtiere on April 21st, 2021. It has been converted to a leasing company.
