Olympic Express was founded on 16th of August 2021, the same day former Greek national flag carrier “Greek United Euroline” ceased operations. Olympic Express will therefore take over the role of Greek United and represent Greece around the world. The company's main focus is to connect Athens with Greece and all the major European cities.
The company was originally founded by Swisslines Intercontinental Group and was sold to Sabelga in July 2023. Sabelga (until then controlled by Swisslines) was in turn sold to British Falcon on the 29th of July 2023. The company remains close to its former Swisslines Group partners and remains a strong member of the Global Excellence Alliance.
